CALENDAR AND TO DO LIST

Responding to a to do assignment
When you receive notification of a to do assignment, you can respond by accepting, declining, or delegating the assignment. You can also propose a new due date or start date, and mark the assignment as completed.

If an assignment notice contains Respond and Respond with Comments options, then the assignor expects a response. If an assignment notice contains an Add to To Do List option instead, the notice is an information-only copy of the assignment which you may add to your to do list or not.

1. Open the assignment notice in your Inbox.

2. Click Respond or Respond with Comments, and then do one of the following:

Then open your to do list, open the instances of the assignment you don't want to accept, and decline those instances. Similarly, if you want to propose a new date for a repeating assignment, accept the assignment and then open the first instance of the assignment and propose a new date.
